We recently completed an extensive renovation project that transformed a traditional home into a modern masterpiece. The project began with a first-floor side extension, which created a luxurious ensuite bathroom for the master bedroom. During this phase, we also refurbished the entire bedroom, beautifully integrating a walking wardrobe by removing a wall, ensuring a seamless and spacious layout.

 

Next, we undertook a substantial rear extension, which greatly expanded the living area. This impressive space now features a dining kitchen and a cozy sofa area, highlighted by a meticulously designed media wall that draws the eye and is filled with intricate details. The three sets of bespoke doors at the back, crafted by our talented joiner, not only enhance the aesthetic but also provide easy access to the outdoor area.

 

Additionally, we installed a stylish downstairs toilet, finished to the highest standards, which boasts a stunning gold leaf ceiling, adding a touch of elegance to the space. To complete the renovation, we replaced the entire roof and rendered the house, giving it a fresh and modern appearance.

This project involved the demolition of a garage and side extension, to enable us to construct a side extension, with the installation of a steel frame to create a large open plan kitchen, family living area, utility room, pantry and ground floor toilet.

External construction included a pool cabin with storage and a plant room for the refurbished swimming pool and a large patio area covered with porcelain tiles.

Langley Vale Farm/ Surrey

The completed project involved a rear and side extension on a charming farmhouse, where the aim was to seamlessly integrate modern elements while preserving the original character of the property. The primary focus of the extension was to create additional living space, including a new kitchen, utility room, ground floor toilet and enhance the overall functionality of the house. One of the key challenges was to ensure that the extension blended harmoniously with the farmhouse's existing architecture, maintaining its rustic charm. To achieve this, great care was taken in selecting the natural wood and subtle detailing helped to maintain a sense of warmth and character on the rear and side external build .

To enhance the comfort and efficiency of the farmhouse, underfloor heating was installed throughout the entire house this not only provided an even distribution of warmth but also eliminated the need for unsightly radiators, allowing the original features of the rooms to shine. To take advantage of the picturesque surroundings, a patio was constructed at the back of the extension. This outdoor area provided a tranquil space for the homeowners to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views of the adjacent fields. The patio was thoughtfully designed to blend with the farmhouse's exterior and provide a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living.​​

In this project we changed a 1970 house in to a modern house, We built a rear extension to open up the kitchen and dining area this also allowed for our balcony to be built that flows from the master bedroom to take in the view. We ripped out the existing bathrooms then refitted new ones. Our clients also wanted under floor heating followed by herringbone tiles throughout the ground floor. We had the kitchen designed to suit our clients needs.

Outside area we completed a massive patio area so the view can be taken in throughout different parts of the garden.

​We returned to a previous client to undertake a significant refurbishment project focused on achieving a striking industrial aesthetic. This involved major structural work to completely transform the kitchen/family area and the creation of a new family bathroom on the first floor. We also reconfigured the existing ground floor layout, extending into a space we originally built for them 17 years ago. Key features include a new industrial-style kitchen and the installation of underfloor heating for enhanced comfort, along with a brand-new family bathroom. It was great to be back working with this client.

Adding further functionality, a new Garage was constructed, cleverly incorporating a bathroom and bedroom above.

The expanded residence now boasts four well-appointed bathrooms and a modern kitchen, designed to meet the demands of contemporary living. Ensuring comfort throughout the main living areas, whole ground floor underfloor heating was installed. Externally, the property was enhanced with a new driveway and a welcoming patio area, creating functional and aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces. To achieve this expansive glazing, various steel structural elements were strategically incorporated into the design, ensuring both stability and a sleek, modern aesthetic. Internally, the client's desire for an open-plan living space was realized through the removal of existing walls, seamlessly integrating the new extension with the original house to create a spacious and interconnected kitchen area. The project also included the creation of a new patio, extending the indoor-outdoor living space and providing an area to enjoy the surroundings.

This extensive project significantly increased the living space and modernized the property through a combination of well-designed extensions and a loft conversion. A key feature is the Ground Floor Wrap-Around Extension, creating a substantial addition that likely enhances the kitchen and living areas with increased natural light and a better connection to the garden. Complementing this is a Double Storey Side Extension, providing significant extra space on both the ground and first floors, potentially for additional bedrooms or living areas. The Loft Conversion further maximizes the property's potential by transforming the attic into habitable space.

Beyond the structural additions, the project included a New Kitchen, designed for modern living, and the installation of Two Bathrooms, providing updated and functional facilities. A new Driveway enhances the property's curb appeal and provides improved off-street parking. The inclusion of Underfloor Heating ensures warmth and comfort throughout the newly extended and potentially other key ground floor areas. This project focused on capturing the distinct aesthetic of the 1920s, as clearly demonstrated in the images. A key element was a complete Roof Replacement, ensuring structural integrity while likely incorporating period-appropriate materials and detailing. The front door was repositioned centrally, a common feature of the era, enhancing symmetry and curb appeal. A new Front Porch was added, providing a classic welcoming feature often seen in 1920s architecture. To introduce natural light into the upper levels, a new Roof light was installed.

The exterior transformation also included a practical and aesthetically fitting in-and-out Driveway. The property was further enhanced with Rendered walls complemented by the characterful addition of Oak Beams, both contributing to the desired period look. Finally, new Guttering and Fascia/Soffit were installed, ensuring both functionality and a clean, authentic finish to the roofline. This meticulous attention to detail has successfully recreated the charm and character of a 1920s home.

Externally, the property received enhancements with the construction of a new garden wall, defining the boundaries and adding to the aesthetic appeal. A new sandstone patio was also installed, providing an attractive and durable outdoor space for relaxation and entertaining, directly accessible from the extended living areas. This project involved a carefully planned two-story side extension coupled with significant internal alterations to optimize the living space. The extension facilitated the creation of a luxurious master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, a new and modern family bathroom, and an additional ensuite bathroom for another bedroom, providing enhanced privacy and convenience. Furthermore, a dedicated utility room and a practical ground floor shower room were added to improve functionality.

Comfort and style were further enhanced through the installation of underfloor heating throughout the existing kitchen diner, utility room, and hallway. These areas were then finished with the elegant and durable laying of porcelain tiles, creating a cohesive and contemporary feel across the ground floor. This comprehensive project successfully delivered a home with significantly improved bedroom suites, added practical spaces, and modern, comfortable flooring throughout key areas.

​This project centered on transforming the existing loft space into a stunning and functional new room, specifically designed to maximize the enjoyment of the surrounding views. The key feature of this Loft Conversion is the inclusion of French doors. Strategically placed, these doors not only flood the new room with natural light and provide easy access to fresh air (potentially onto a Juliet balcony or similar), but they also frame the view perfectly, allowing the client to appreciate it even while relaxing in bed.
